Kat studied Interior Architecture at Florida State University. Prior to joining the MUL-MAC studio, she began her career with a global design and architecture firm in both the New York City and Los Angeles studios where her experience as a designer in their workplace and healthcare studios laid the foundation for her professional design career after 6 years.

Kat’s design philosophy is ever evolving but currently gets most of her inspiration from personal observation and experiences in and around Los Angeles; good flea market finds, local artists and design, exploring the outdoors are just a few things that inspire her. She believes good design is a powerful thing that can be simple, beautiful, and functional at the same time. She strives to create spaces that matter. Spaces that foster community and bring people joy.
