Located half a mile from the ocean, this 3 unit luxury multi-family condominium development sought to redevelop a once underutilized lot in a prime location in Redondo Beach.
This stepped building form allowed for a unique architectural expression of the building massing.
Custom walnut millwork and luxurious tiled wall accents and flooring bring warmth and class to this master bathroom suite.
Solar exposures drive the other exterior building articulations, with deep overhangs protecting the Southern façade.
The materiality of the building consists of a thoughtful application of light and dark smooth stucco, with Thermory ash wood siding accents at the second story. This same wood application also formed part of the sitework material palette, with the landscaping and architecture blending into one.
Perched upon a bluff, the project boasts impressive views looking out towards the Pacific Ocean, Palos Verdes Peninsula, and full views of the Santa Monica Mountains and Bay.
