Digital Room is an online print platform allowing customers to create simple and reliable ways for small and medium sized businesses to reach their customers, to promote their products and brands. Their new offices in Van Nuys were an opportunity to move their leadership and creative teams out of their industrial manufacturing facility into a brand new office headquarters location.
Custom hexagon shapes are integrated sparingly, but with maximum impact
Particular attention was paid to the company’s distinctive branding in the design of their new executive facing office space. An ambient cove lighting detail features in the reception area, and a cluster of hexagon pendant lights adorn the board room.
The raw brick and concrete shell they occupied was to be embraced and highlighted with open ceilings in the open office areas, and the introduction of Portola paint textured walls in the break rooms and other key areas. Conference rooms feature color-themed rooms referencing saturated brand colors, with custom carpet and painted wall accents.
